100% aerial, 100% tackles, 90% passing: William Saliba impressed for Arsenal in 1-0 win over Chelsea🙏

Arsenal defeated Chelsea 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday to get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

The Gunners had a strong victory Sunday, extending their winning record over the Blues to six matches.

Despite some excellent opportunities, Arsenal was unable to double their lead. Leandro Trossard’s decision-making during the London derby was especially poor.

During the derby, the Frenchman had 70 touches and a 90 percent passing accuracy rate. He won all two of his tackles (2/2) and all three of his aerials (3/3).

In addition, he made two blocks, four recoveries, and four clearances. The central defender had a great performance. He had a fair amount of control over the events.

With nine games remaining, Arsenal’s lead over leaders Liverpool has shrunk to 12 points following their victory over Chelsea.

Liverpool has a certain edge, but the Gunners need to keep winning in order to take advantage of any losses the Reds may experience.

In the same week, Arne Slot’s team lost the Carabao Cup final and was eliminated from the Champions League.

Whether this affects their league results following the international break is still up in the air.
