Mikel Merino has revealed the touching backstory of a sentimental old photo of himself as a little boy wearing an Arsenal uniform. The picture was shot after his relatives gave him the kit, Merino, who recently joined Arsenal from Real Sociedad, explained. “They said to me, ‘Okay, just stand there like you’re signing with Arsenal, because you never know what might happen later,'” he remembered.
