Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has started training his dog XL Bully to protect him after a number of Premier League stars had their homes broken into, it has been reported.
Spanish player Raya, 28, has had Goku since he was a puppy, living in a secure cage at the footballer’s London home. And according to The Sun , the on-loan player has hired a company called Elite Protection Dogs to help him train the animal.
Raya and his girlfriend Tatiana have shared pictures of Goku on social media, and their dog trainers have moved to allay any fears about the sitter’s ability to care for the dog – who is on loan from Brentford. “David Raya has an XL Bully. He’s called Goku, he’s one year old. David has had him since he was a puppy,” a spokesperson told The Sun.
“Everyone at XL Bullys is worried. But David is a responsible owner, he wants to be responsible for Goku. We are training Goku on a long-term contract.”
