Mo Salah displays his chiseled abs as the athletic Liverpool footballer takes a swim in a chilly ice bath

Mo Salah showed off his impressive physique while taking a freezing cold ice bath in his latest Instagram photo posted on Monday.

The Egyptian-born football star, 31, revealed his sculpted chest and flashed a wide smile as he embraced the chill of the icy waters.

He may have been freezing in the cube-filled tub, but it’s safe to say he heated things up for many of his 61.1 million Instagram fans.

Mo displayed a playful side by clutching a rubber duck in the picture. He’s currently training in Germany for pre-season camp.

That means his workout schedule is even more intense now — and his toned body clearly shows the results of his effort.

The footballer has also gone for a neater look with a fresh beard trim, adding to his rugged charm.

His athletic frame has always stood out, but it’s gotten even more defined since he joined The Reds back in 2017.

A devout Muslim, Mo abstains from alcohol — something trainer Isabella Murray believes supports his shredded appearance.

Self-discipline: It's believed that Mo has an intensive workout routine and that this, combined with excellent genetics, is responsible for the muscular physique he's known for

He’s also extremely disciplined. During Ramadan, he’s shared clips of himself training as early as 2:40 in the morning.

Speaking to Mail Online, Isabella said, “Men’s essential body fat is 3%, and for women it’s 15%.

“To show visible abs, Mo keeps both subcutaneous and visceral fat low, which helps reveal that core definition.”

Cardio training plays a role, but Isabella reminds fans that this look is partly genetic and not attainable for all.

“No matter how hard you train, not everyone can get a six-pack — genetics decide that,” she explained.

“All men have the rectus abdominis — the six-pack muscle — but genes dictate the shape and length of it,” said Isabella.

But Mo brings more than good looks — his performance on the pitch continues to turn heads across the globe.

Rumors suggest Saudi Pro League teams are working hard to lure him, offering huge deals to sign the top-tier athlete.

Still, Liverpool likely wants to keep him, having invested tens of millions in the football phenomenon since his arrival.

With shirtless snaps and pitch-perfect skills, Mo Salah ensures the spotlight continues to follow him everywhere.
