Liverpool exit to give Salah ‘new impetus’ he needs by joining one of two clubs

Mohamed Salah has been advised to leave his Liverpool accomplishments in the past by securing a transfer to one of two destinations away from Anfield.

Salah is the all-time Premier League and Champions League leading scorer for Liverpool, garnering him legendary status at the club. Due to his performance, it has been frequently speculated whether he could attain an even higher level.

In fact, despite Liverpool’s dominance during the Jurgen Klopp era, a transfer to Barcelona or Real Madrid may remain the pinnacle for an elite player.

And according to former Porto and Algeria forward Rabah Madjer, Salah should contemplate a summer transfer to one of the two La Liga powerhouses.

Madjer stated to Al Ain Sports, “Salah is an exceptional athlete and the glory of all Arabs.” Liverpool is a very large team, and they helped him maximize his aptitude, which Chelsea was unable to do previously.

“Renewing his contract would be a beautiful acknowledgement of his accomplishments at Anfield, but I’d like to see the Pharaohs star donning the jersey of one of the Spanish football giants, Barcelona or Real Madrid.” This would give his career a fresh start.”

The Liverpool midfielder was informed he has no future at the club as Klopp plans a summer overhaul.

Salah re-signed with Liverpool prior to the beginning of the current season. Overall, the season has been a difficult one for the club.

With his 31st birthday approaching in June, Salah has many productive years ahead of him. However, the window of opportunity for him to enter another elite club may be quite small.

Barcelona has been rumored to be interested in signing Salah this summer in order to bolster its wide positions. Whether or not they could afford him is debatable, however.

Real Madrid may have other priorities, but it may be worthwhile to keep a watch on them in case an opportunity to acquire Mohamed Salah arises.

Salah’s contract with Liverpool should send a clear message. However, Salah is currently under contract on Merseyside until 2025. His terms are the best ever awarded to a player in his club’s history.

In theory, it should be enough to protect Liverpool from rival interest in Salah. It will be important for them to improve their form in the final weeks of the season, though, to remind the Egypt international that they are the right place to be.

Champions League qualification looks to be at risk for Jurgen Klopp’s side. Obviously, a player of Salah’s quality ought to be in Europe’s top competition – especially when he has still been putting up more than respectable numbers this season.

Only time will tell what his next step after Liverpool will be – and when exactly he might take that leap.
