Jurgen Klopp has begun his new life in Spain, but he seemed to be unable to escape Liverpool, as he posed for selfies in the sun with former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
Klopp left Liverpool at the end of the season following nine successful seasons in charge of the Reds, including Premier League and Champions League crowns, as well as multiple domestic cup wins.
His final season in charge saw Liverpool win the Carabao Cup but come short of an unprecedented quadruple, but Klopp was sent off with a bang after a 2-0 win against Wolves.
He was then given to one final farewell, an emotionally packed Q&A session at the Liverpool M&S Bank Arena, before heading to Spain to begin the next chapter of his life.
However, it was a speedier return to his Anfield history than he might have expected after stumbling with his Reds predecessor Rodgers, who was speaking with a Belfast-based journalist.

The two former Liverpool managers then posed for a photo with Northern Irish writer Steven Beacom, while the German’s wife Ulla captured the moment.
Beacom captioned the photo of Klopp and Rodgers all smiles: ‘Three people out in the Spanish heat, two wonderful managers, and one entertaining shot…
‘It’s great to see Brendan and Jurgen looking so calm and enjoying themselves.
Klopp has been enjoying his time away from football, having previously attended the Champions League final at Wembley Stadium to witness his former team Borussia Dortmund face Real Madrid in May.
Klopp and his wife of 20 years, Ulla, will remain at the five-star Kimpton Aysla Hotel while the construction of their new £3.4 million property is completed.
The property has been dubbed as a ‘ecological family paradise’, which he purchased from Swiss businessman and artist Rolf Knie in June 2022 for €4 million (£3.4 million) and plans to entirely renovate.
Klopp took to his newly opened Instagram account to update followers after leaving Anfield for a trip that included playing padel.
After the campaign ended, he participated in a Q&A session on Merseyside as a final farewell.

What have I been up to? Working on my game! Klopp captioned a clip.
“Five days ago was the big goodbye,” Klopp remarked. ‘I’m still trying to process everything from that day and the days that followed. I’m feeling a little more settled now.
I’m not sure if I conveyed it clearly enough, but thank you for everything.
Thank you for your love and support; it was a fantastic day.
‘The best exprience I could have ever dreamed; truly wonderful.
‘Now, wha I’m doing is trying, no, I’m following my second huge love, which is to develop my padel game.
‘I started a few days ago, and today is my third session. I started at a very low level, did not play for a while, and felt it right away.
Klopp came to Instagram to tell that he has been playing padel at the beginning of his break.
Klopp pondered on his goodbye to Liverpool on Sunday, revealing he has had three padel sessions to follow his passion for the sport.
‘Step by step, I shall get there.
Rodgers, however, will be relishing his time off following a fantastic double back at Celtic, which saw them hold off Rangers’ challenge to maintain their dominance in Scottish football.
