As he heals from a hamstring injury that unexpectedly terminated his season last month, Arsenal player Kai Havertz has been spotted wearing a knee brace. On February 12, at the team’s mid-season vacation in Dubai, the 25-year-old suffered the injury during a pressing practice. He was recently seen with his friend Senyo, who owns a barbershop and male grooming business on Portobello Road in west London.
Havertz is shown in the picture wearing a knee brace that was fitted following surgery and using crutches. Having cut the hair of celebrities like Mason Mount and Enzo Fernandez in the past, Senyo is well-known for his fashionable haircuts. He bills £65 for haircuts and charges £250 for a call-out service for customers who would rather have him come to their homes.
“The past few days have been difficult to process both physically and mentally,” Havertz wrote on social media after his operation. However, yesterday was a pleasant day. A good opportunity. I appreciate all of your supportive notes over the past several days; they have been quite helpful. I’m currently concentrating on getting to the top of my fitness game and supporting the squad as much as I can in the background.
With important players like Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Martinelli also out, his injury has been a major blow to Arsenal’s hopes of winning the championship. The club has had trouble scoring, going scoreless in back-to-back Premier League games against Nottingham Forest and West Ham. With with 11 games left, they are already 13 points behind league leaders Liverpool.
In the opening leg of their Champions League round of 16 match against PSV Eindhoven, Arsenal will travel to the Netherlands on Tuesday. On Sunday, March 9, they will then travel to Old Trafford to play Manchester United.
