Declan Rice reveals exactly what Arsenal need to beat PSG and reach the UEFA Champions League final: Need ‘big balls’ and ‘magic moments’

According to DECLAN RICE, Arsenal needs “magic moments” and “big balls” in order to get to the Champions League final.

The England player also says he “knows what is required” to lead the Gunners over Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final.

In order to win Europe’s top championship for the first time, Mikel Arteta’s team needs to overcome a 1-0 deficit in France.

Since they haven’t scored in their last SIX semi-finals across all competitions since May 2021, the odds are against them.

Following a home loss in the first leg, Arsenal has also lost their last four Champions League knockout matches.

However, Rice stated: “We must have big balls, perform on the biggest stage, and demonstrate that we are prepared to play at this level.”

Ninety minutes separate this semi-final from the final.

“We want to accomplish great things for this club, and we can go out there and do it.

“We are aware that we are behind 1-0, but nothing changes. We are completely confident that we will go out there and succeed.

“To make an impression, we’re here. We will undoubtedly advance to that final.

Rice, a 26-year-old midfielder, has represented England and West Ham in significant European semi-finals.

In 2022, he led the Hammers to victory in the Conference League after they suffered a devastating Europa League semi-final loss to Eintracht Frankfurt.

He finished second at the last two Euros with the Three Lions.

“I’ve played in semi-finals before and I know what is required,” Rice continued, after scoring two incredible free kicks against Real Madrid in the quarterfinal.

“I was able to create two free kicks against Madrid.” However, it is set up so that someone else could experience that moment of magic.

“To win, you’ll need a magical moment.”

After a hamstring scare, PSG forward Ousmane Dembele, who scored the game-winning goal in the fourth minute for Emirates, has been cleared to play.
