Liverpool Manager Arne Slot Celebrates Premier League Triumph with Ibiza Getaway
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has been spotted enjoying a short break in Ibiza to celebrate his side’s Premier League title win.
Slot, who succeeded Jurgen Klopp last summer, became only the second manager to guide Liverpool to a Premier League title, securing the club’s 20th top-flight championship with a dominant win over Tottenham two weeks ago. The Dutchman quickly won over the Anfield faithful and led jubilant celebrations inside the stadium, even joining in chants for Klopp and receiving his own anthem from fans.
On Monday, Slot was seen soaking up the sun in Ibiza, where he was welcomed to a beach bar with Queen’s “We Are the Champions” blasting and women holding cards spelling out “Champions!”
Among those who captured the moment was EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney, who shared footage on Instagram of Slot mingling with guests and enjoying a celebratory drink. The caption read: “Eagle-eyed viewers will spot a certain Premiership-winning manager,” followed by emoji reactions.
The venue appeared to be the popular O Beach club, owned by Wayne Lineker, brother of BBC presenter Gary Lineker. Wayne posted a photo of himself kissing Slot on the cheek, captioning it: “Caption this #YNWA,” with heart and clap emojis.
Initially reserved, Slot later embraced the atmosphere, posing for photos and joining in when Liverpool anthem “Freed From Desire” played—an unofficial victory song for the club in recent years.
While their manager partied in Ibiza, Liverpool players are reportedly in Dubai for a short break ahead of their final two Premier League fixtures against Brighton and Crystal Palace. The Reds recently drew 2-2 with Arsenal at the Emirates.
Slot’s light-hearted celebration marks a memorable chapter in what has already been a remarkable debut season for the 46-year-old at Anfield.
