Young French forward Hugo Ekitike now appears to be departing Paris Saint-Germain this summer, at least temporarily, after struggling to make an impact in a turbulent debut season at the Parc des Princes.

According to a source, Eintracht Frankfurt has made a loan offer for Paris Saint-Germain forward Hugo Ekitike.
Unsurprisingly, the 20-year-old has found it difficult to disrupt Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar’s established order since his season-long loan from Reims last season.
Ekitike has only managed four goals and four assists in 30 appearances this season under Christophe Galtier.
The Frenchman, who has started PSG’s previous two Ligue 1 games, provided an assist in Saturday’s 5-0 thrashing of AC Ajaccio after being selected to play alongside Messi and Mbappe in the final third.
Unless PSG exercise their option to make his contract permanent, Ekitike will currently return to Reims for preseason, and according to L’Equipe, Frankfurt are interested in his services.

According to the source, Ekitike’s contract with Reims is set to expire after the 2023–24 season, and Dιе Adler has made an offer to sign him on a temporary basis.
Despite being unimpressed by a few of his performances, the article states that PSG will still accept their bid to рᴜгcҺаꜱе the 20-year-old if they place first or second in Ligue 1 this season.
With just three games left, the defending champions are nearly guaranteed to win because they are six points ahead of Lens and eight points ahead of third-place Marseille.
Ekitike is supposedly set to sign a permanent contract with PSG for €35 million (£30.5 million), but despite his willingness to stay, the French club may be willing to let him leave this summer.
Frankfurt has reportedly made a €20 million (£17.4 million) offer for young defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu because they believe they can give Ekitike a foundation to restart his career in Germany.
Eintracht Frankfurt has reportedly made a move for Ekitike while also making an offer for promising defender El Chadaille Bitshiabu, according to L’Équipe. Although the forward wants to stay and compete for his spot, as indicated by his attendance in training even on last Monday’s day off, the Bundesliga club’s sporting director Markus Krösche has made a loan offer to the French youth international.

Ekitike contributed 11 goals and four assists in 26 games for Reims during the 2021–22 season before moving to the Parc des Princes. This weekend, when PSG travels to Auxerre, he might earn his third consecutive top-flight start.
Along with Ekitike, Neymar, Mbappe, and Messi’s futures have also been passionately contested throughout the course of the season, with the latter currently appearing set to ꜱаy goodbye at the conclusion of the year.
The Argentine’s punishment for traveling to Saudi Arabia without permission has already been overturned, but PSG has reportedly opted not to extend his contract through the end of the current campaign.
In the meantime, Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly interested in Neymar, who is out for the remainder of the season due to an ankle ι𝚗jᴜгy. Neymar may be allowed to leave PSG as they look to usher in a new era with fresh talent.
The Frenchman has stated that he wants to help PSG win the Champions League after multiple failed attempts, making Mbappe the least likely of the three to depart this summer.
