Following absences due to illness and ι𝚗jᴜгy from the previous two Manchester United games, Marcus Rashford has resumed training at Carrington.
Rashford, though, joined his United teammates for training on Tuesday and might possibly play a part in this week’s Premier League games at Old Trafford against Chelsea and Fulham.
The 25-year-old England international, who has scored 29 goals for United this season across all competitions, was absent from their most recent victories over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bournemouth.
When Manchester United hosts Chelsea on Sunday, forward Marcus Rashford might make his Champions League comeback after sitting out the previous two games, according to manager Erik ten Hag.

The 25-year-old England international, who has scored 29 goals for United in all competitions this season, missed their previous two victories over Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bournemouth due to a leg ι𝚗jᴜгy and then a sickness.
“It looks like he will be available,” Ten Hag told reporters ahead of Thursday’s home game against 12th placed Chelsea.
“Yesterday (Tuesday) he returned to training. He looks fit but we have to see what is the outcome of the training, how did he recover, and then we will make our choices.”
United has a winning record this year even without Rashford, as they defeated Wolves and Bournemouth without him. However, Erik ten Hag will be а𝚗xιоᴜꜱ if the 25-year-old not available for the FA Cup final on June 3 against Manchester City at Wembley.

The Dutchman, whose team’s League Cup victory in February ended United’s six-year trophy drought, said his team is on the right track but conceded that they are still a work in progress.
United is on pace to finish in the top four this season after missing out on Champions League football last time around; all they need is a point from their final two games against Fulham and Chelsea.
With 69 points, United is third in the rankings, three points ahead of fifth-placed Liverpool, who has played one more game. Ten Hag remarked, “We are in a project and we want to go back and win trophies.
“We win one trophy, but we want to win more trophies. We want to compete with the best, but we are still on a journey. But we think we are in the right direction. But we can always be better because good is not good enough.

“We want to compete with the best and then you have to be in the Champions League. So (it is) simple.”
Casemiro on Neville
The Premier League’s top signing of the season, according to Gary Neville, was Casemiro because without him Manchester United would not have been in the top four.
Last summer, Casemiro signed a four-year contract and moved from Real Madrid in a deal worth up to £70 million. Erik ten Hag spent the entire summer attempting to get Frenkie De Jong, thus the 31-year-old was by no means his top choice for the midfield position. His arrival caused considerable criticism because it was seen as a continuation of the club’s recent short-termism.
