‘He plays like a kid’: Legend criticized Man Utd ‘joking’ star

Andy Cole criticized Bruno Fernandes for engaging in “another whine” following Sunday’s 2-0 loss to Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.

Bruno Fernandes called for a penalty in the first half after arguing that Fabian Schar had clipped him inside the penalty area, but the on-field official waved play on and ignored the call.

The 28-year-old Manchester United player was sure that he should have been given a penalty kick and was yelling at the referee seconds later.

The raucous Newcastle United home crowd was having none of it and made sure to express their displeasure with Man United’s founder.

This isn’t the first time Fernandes has chosen to complain, as he has a propensity to piggyback on the opponent or whine about anything and everything.

Even former Manchester United players are criticizing his antics, as Andy Cole recently shared with Premier League Productions (02/04/23 at 5:30 pm).

Cole replied, “Not even close to a penalty.” “I believe that as players, we are able to tell whether it is a penalty or not because his teammates would be fully behind him.

It’s Bruno (Fernandes) complaining yet again, not a penalty.

FERNANDES SPENT YET ANOTHER DAY AT WORK

The Portuguese international is such a character that many opposing supporters despise him, but if he plays for your team, you want him to keep winding up that toy.

The correct call was made and Fernandes’s true penalty shout wasn’t a spot-kick, so continue to dupe him.

The Magpies secured a 2-0 victory, though, thanks to goals from Joe Willock and Callum Wilson in the second half, sending supporters of Newcastle to St. James’ Park to celebrate.

Manchester United “need to go and acquire a quality striker” because Wout Weghorst is “not good enough.”

After Manchester United was defeated 2-0 by Newcastle on Sunday, Jamie Redknapp maintained that Wout Weghorst is “not good enough” for Manchester United.

In spite of United having just one chance on goal, the Magpies dominated the game and scored twice in the second half through Joe Willock and Callum Wilson.

Given that Newcastle has moved ahead of the Red Devils to take third position, the outcome was particularly detrimental for them.

Even though they will have played two more games, Spurs can knock United down to fifth with a draw against Everton on Monday.

Since joining Erik ten Hag in January, Weghorst has started every game for the team, but Redknapp thought Sunday’s performance was particularly bad.

According to his comments to Sky Sports, “What those performances there [during the season] and what we saw today illustrate is that they’re well short, they need players.”

“I don’t want to get into the Weghorst, horror,” you say. Nonetheless, he falls short. Man United must go out and get a good striker if they want to be in the running for championships. With Rashford, they’ve been in need of one for a while.

At Saint James’ Park, United presented very little of a forward tҺreaт and managed only one attempt on goal, though Redknapp did admit they weren’t at full strength.

He continued, “In midfield today you have to rҽalize they’re missing [Christian] Eriksen and Casemiro, two extremely crucial players, so you’re not terrified of that Manchester United midfield today.

You’re not afraid to play against [Scott] McTominay or Marcel Sabitzer at this time, are you? You know Bruno [Fernandes] is great on good days, and he raises his arms in the air when he’s having a poor day, which is not acceptable and does not set the correct examples.

The Red Devils may still be in contention for an ᴜnexpected treble this season, despite the doom that now hangs over Old Trafford.

They have already won one championship, advanced to the FA Cup semifinals and the last eight of the Europa League, where they will play Sevilla in the quarterfinals the following week.

League standings are the rҽal worry. While United might still hold onto fourth place, they have gone seven weeks without scoring a Premier League goal and are currently being outperformed by the teams in front of them.

Redknapp claimed that Ten Hag needs to strengthen this summer regardless of how impressive their trophy collection may be, and he continued, “Manchester United will need to do a lot of effort in terms of recruitment in the next window if they want to compete.”

I believe Ten Hag is sort of taking a look at it. For a while, the cracks have been covered up, and if you make it to the end of the season with a trophy and a spot in the top four, everyone will think everything is perfect.

He needs help, they are short. They won’t be that far away, so he needs a few players to join in. As he has already made significant changes at the club, we are already aware that he is a top manager.

The Red Devils’ next match is on Wednesday against Brentford, a match that has a lot of baggage because United lost 4-0 to the Bees in manager ten Hag’s first game in charge. To cap off a busy six days, the Red Devils play Everton on Saturday.
