Inside Rashford trip to New York, and Fred has taken his wife to the Maldives for a romantic getaway

TWO MANCHESTER UNITED players have left the country to take a break from the game.

Since Christmas, the Red Devils have played every few days as they have pursued medals in numerous events.

But with club football taking a break for a few weeks for the final time this season, some players have had a chance to let loose.

Some members of United’s squad can anticipate a break, despite the fact that the majority of them were signed to play for their national teams.

Marcus Rashford was forced to withdraw from the England team for the European Championship qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine due to injury.

And the 25-year-old has taken advantage of his sporadic break from the sport to travel to New York with Lucia Loi.

Since the beginning of the year, Rashford has been on fire, scoring goal after goal in crucial matches for the team.

However, he tweeted a photo of himself wandering through the streets of one of America’s most well-known cities, showing that he seemed to be enjoying his time away from the spotlight.

The striker posted a picture of himself in New York City wearing a dark hat, dark gloves, and sunglasses with the caption “downtime.”

Fred, Rashford’s midfield teammate, traveled to the Maldives to spend time with his family.
