Liverpool players are enjoying a well deserved break ahead of pre-season
After a long and arduous season at Anfield, Liverpool players have used the first few weeks of their summer vacation to jet off to different locations around the world before they report back for pre-season at the start of July.
In recent weeks, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Harvey Elliott took to various locations in Spain with the defender just one of many superstars to take to Barcelona for the recent F1 Grand Prix. Meanwhile, Elliott, four years his junior, opted for a stay on the island of Ibizia alongside friends and fellows Reds Tyler Morton and Max Woltman.

Prior to linking up with his international team-mates for Egypt’s upcoming friendlies against Guinea and South Sudan, Mohamed Salah was all smiles in a post he shared on social media that showed him enjoying his time at sea while on what appeared to be a yacht of some kind. The 30-year-old has now joined up with the Egyptian national ahead of their fixtures later this week.
Alisson Becker and his wife Natalia Becker enjoyed some sun on the coast of Sardina, Italy last week and shared a series of snaps on their Instagram pages. Like Salah, Alisson has received an international call-up for this month’s internationals as Brazil face games against Guinea and Senegal.
Meanwhile, Thiago Alcantara spent some time back in Spain as he attended a wedding alongside his wife, Julia Vigas. It comes after the family returned from a recent trip to the island of Mauritius. The 32-year-old Spaniard hasn’t featured since Liverpool’s trip to West Ham in April and later required surgery on a persisting hip issue.
For captain Jordan Henderson there appears to be little time off, with the 32-year-old sharing a snap on his social media pages on Saturday night of him in a home gym. Henderson will, like Alexander-Arnold, be part of Gareth Southgate’s England squad that reports to St George’s Park next week.
Rhys Williams continued to be on holiday in Marbella with Leighton Clarkson, with the defender sharing more snaps of the trip on Saturday night. The 22-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Championship outfit Blackpool, before he was recalled to Anfield in January.
