Watch: Liverpool FC’s tribute to James Milner – He officially left to join Brighton

The Englishman joined the Reds in the summer of 2015 and quickly established himself as a vital player both on and off the field, excelling in his duties as vice-captain.

Milner spent his whole time at Anfield as a midfielder who occasionally played at fullback. He made 332 appearances for the club and helped Jürgen Klopp’s team win seven trophies, including the Premier League and Champions League.

Wearing the iconic No.7 jersey, his 26 Liverpool goals included many high-pressure and vital penalties and he also provided 45 assists for his teammates.

Milner assisted the Reds in winning the UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Carabao Cup, Emirates FA Cup, and FA Community Shield in addition to the aforementioned league title and European Cup successes.

Brighton has now officially announced that Milner will move there before the 2023–24 season to start the next phase of his incredible career, which has already comprised more than 600 games in the top division.

James is sincerely appreciated by everyone at Liverpool FC and is given their best wishes for the future.
