Curtis Jones, a player for Liverpool, may become famous in the future, according to pundit Don Hutchison.
On the Football Daily Podcast, Hutchison discussed the 22-year-old’s most recent development.
All of the previous season, Jurgen Klopp looked for a solution to his midfield problems.
Many of his older talents had a marked decline in performance as a result of just missing a renowned quadruple.
After making an initial impression in the first squad, teenager Stefan Bajcetic became apparent as the team’s potential long-term savior.
The season-ending injury Curtis Jones suffered in March made room for him to play more.
His joining the team corresponded with an improvement in their performance, which was no coincidence.
Hutchison has now asserted that Curtis Jones, a member of Liverpool, may be a future star.
His two-for-one performance against Leicester City was the campaign’s high point.
He provided much more last season than simply the occasional goal, though.
Jones, in Hutchison’s opinion, may become a future star for Liverpool.Hutchison said of the young midfielder: “I can recall having a talk with Jason McAteer, who is a huge Harvey Elliott fan, probably about 18 months or two years ago. He’s a great player, in my opinion.
But Curtis Jones caught my attention. When you’re a young player, you make sure to give the ball to the better players in the first 25, 50 games by not making any mistakes.
“I was simply looking at Curtis Jones and thought, if you can start doing a little bit more on your own instead of giving it to the Salahs, there’s 100% a player in there.
“I believe you could see that from pretty early on. Now, I believed that what we witnessed near the conclusion of the season was a guy simply expressing himself, and if he needed to pull off a trick, he would do it; if he needed to take someone on, he would do it; and if a one-two was called for, he would make it.
“You must do well in a game and not just play safely so your numbers would appear nice.
In terms of Liverpool, I believe he has a very promising future, and I believe Jurgen Klopp is aware of the talent.
TBR View: This summer, Jones might save the club millions.
The midfielder making £15,000 per week has proven he is more than qualified to fit into Liverpool’s midfield.
